Release Notes

What's new?

• Requires .Net Framework 4.6.1.
• Option to reduce the thickness of the recorder UI. (Thin mode)
• Added Korean translation.
• Updated the Russian translation.

Bug fixes:

♦ ActionStack (Undo/Redo) was causing a loss of frames because of wrong location of the images.
♦ Unchecking "Detect unchanged pixels" resulted in a 32B file (corrupted).
♦ Cancelling the import of media caused a lockdown.
♦ When opening the "SaveAs", it could crash the app if there was a strange Path variable present.
♦ Wrong location of the cache files (board recorder).

Known issues:

♣ The feedback feature isn't working again. Sorry.
♣ Multi monitor setup with multiple DPI settings not supported. Fixed for the next release.

Reviews for this release

Absolutely what I was looking for! Ability to save locally and not to some dumb cloud service is the only reason you need to download this app. Plan to donate for sure! Thanks!

Really awesome, many features, and quality is better than Gyazo's GIF recorder. Love it.

Info: I use Win7 and I shall never upgrade ;-) Primarily, the app works as it should ... BUT: As soon as I changed interface settings to 'thin' there is NO turning back even if DE-selected later ?? It doesn't seem to use any settings log/file ?? So, now I'm STUCK with HALF a control space at the bottom ?? An awesome Feature for the Future versions of this otherwise brilliant app would be an option like: "Just record fullscreen with no borders and absolutely NO bottom line" Btw: Thanks for the smooth and easy CodePlex sign-up, I mean it !! Thanks in advance ;-) /Pete PS: I use paragraphs for easy reading but the Codeplex interface returns a WALL-of-text ... Too bad; should be fixed imho ;-)

There's two ways to disable/enable the "thin mode", one is under Options>Interface>Hide the title bar. Other is under the right-click of the "Record" button. This setting should hide/show the title bar as soon as you change it.

I would give it a five except all gifs end up being 2.05MB in size, it doesn't matter if it's 10 frames or 50. Which as someone who makes gifs for tumblr doesn't work since there's a 2MB size limit and it's sad cause they end up looking very good.

It's a bug already fixed for the next release. To avoid that while using the current release, use a different file name.
