1. Transparent board recording & insert as overlay
You can record a board drawing with transparent background, then insert to the current animation as a overlay.
Something like this:

Demo:
Your animation: Image
transparent board recording: Image
Board recording overlay applied: Image

1.1 Import another gif as overlay
You can import a gif file as overlay
If the gif animation imported is not transparent, simply stick together
Demo:

if the gif animation imported has transparent background, import as overlay

2. Extended progress bar formatting
2.1 You can customize the position (x, y), width, color, length, direction(rotation angle) of the progress bar.
Demo:
Image

2.2 You can also customize the position (x, y in pixels), rotation angle of the progress text. And you can customize the text content with more power.
Demo:

For example, the template $f / @f is the same as the Frame Number option in ScreenToGif 2.3

3. Free text / watermark duration
When adding Free Text or Watermark, there's an additional option, something like Duration(frames) witch indicates how many frames the text or watermark you added should be displayed.

Thanks for the feedback :D

1) That's a cool idea, I just need to change how the Board recorder works.
2.1) This is easy to do.
2.2) Awesome! This should be easy to do.
3) I believe that you can do that already, simply select multiple frames by using Ctrl + Click and apply the overlay.

Glad to hear that all those requests are considered!
An additional note for (1) and (1.1):
It will be sweet if user can decide the insert location of the imported image/recording, by providing:
  • Customizable coordinates, just like the x/y input box for Free Text
  • OR/and draggable imported items, just like the draggable Free Text
    Draggable text
About (3), I didn't know I can do that for years, what a shame lol
Thanks for the tips! Thanks for such an awesome project, too!

Or like the "Watermark" feature, with a resizing adorner?

With the version 2.3, at the bottom of the window, there's a little indicator that shows when you can select multiple frames to apply something. It appears when a panel opens.

That's even BETTER!
I think Import Image and Watermark can merge into one feature if you did so

That indicator, I see it now. I didn't noticed that before :/
End users, you know, always ignore anything that is not red colored, bold, and blinking lol
